Okay. Cedar Lake residents like to write on this board, yet how many of you take your complaints to your elected officals? :roll: Go to a town council meeting and speak your mind!!!! I read day in and day out about all of these gripes people have, yet when I attend town council meetings the room is nearly empty. For a long time this one guy always attended, and always took the podium to speak his mind. He just started going to meetings again. :D The point, don't just gripe to do so!! Stand up for yourself, do something about your situation, be heard.
Town Council meetings are the first and third Tuesday of the month at 7pm.

Owl,
You are saying what has been going on for as long as I can remember.That people are whining about the way things are in town but they don't go to town meetings and speak up. They/We seem to just complain to the wrong people. If the towns people could stick together it might have a stronger impact on the town council. Maybe then they might just see how the towns people that did & didn't vote them into office really feel. Maybe then the finger pointing would stop and something might take off in the right direction,until then we can just sit back and read the post on how things could/should be.

No zippy, I write only under this moniker.
We have some serious wrongs in our community, especially with those who manage to get elected. One person can change things, am I that guy,I don't know. I'm gonna try.
