Post subject:  Moraine Ridge Wildlife Rehab Center EVENT
Moraine Ridge is the only Wildlife Rehab Center in Porter Co and they are putting on a Silent Auction/Concert Event on Sunday, Aug. 7th from Noon to 5pm (Auction closes at 4pm). 2 Bands are featured, one playing Classic Rock the other playing Heavy Metal SlipKnot type music.

For the kids, there's face painting and other activities. Those under 12 y/o are FREE. Otherwise it's only a $5 admission fee for a TERRIFIC TIME and worthwhile to support at the beautiful Coffee Creek Park off Rt. 49 in Chesterton.

Silent Auction Donors include: Anderson's Orchard & Winery, The Gary SouthShore Railcats, Wild Birds Unlimited...among many other loyal community donors! Come out and visit us for awhile on Aug. 7th! :lol:

Post subject:  Moraine Ridge Wildlife events
Thank you for the support of Moraine Ridge Wildlife Rehab events, especially the Silent Auction/Concert. We're thinking of an expansion on it for spring of next year due to our Grand Opening & Gourd Race 5k/10k events this year.
However, we will have a booth at the April 22 Earth Day fundraiser at Sunset Hill Park in Valpo and at the May 5th PC Animal Shelter "Be Kind to Animals" event at the PC Expo Center. Come out and see us, hear about our positive progress on the Rehab Center!
