I’m missing something here. Gary is about to wear an infamous tag and the police doesn’t get two lines. To combat crime a large visible police force is a most. Few if any of Rudy’s endeavors “yet to come†will ever happen without an enormous reduction in crime. Reinstate the Gang Task Unit, assign the unqualified Auxiliary Force to traffic duties, unarmed. If serious about helping Gary and it’s citizens preventing illegal dumping or writing parking tickets auxiliary officer don’t need a weapon and place them under the command of the Police Chief.
