In a community that is 85%-88% African American, not one Marathon gas station is owned by an African American. The intrusion by foreigners in our community is awesome. It is made possible by our pre-occupation with an ill-fated functioning slave mentality. What is even more awesome is how they manipulate the system by rotating ownership of each station within their families.
Their intrusive presence in our community is our fault. We, collectively, must be held accountable for their presence. Our complacence with anything, by anyone, is digging our pit of misery even dangerously deeper to certain despair.
Myself, along with several other individuals attempted several times to address various issues concerning respectibility in our community, but to no avail. The problem did not directly affect them. Therefore, they felt it wasn't their problem. That kind of reaction is conducive to the tremendous progress the intruders have made, and are continuing to make.
Their capitalization on our predicament is extremely profitable economically, especially considering the billions of dollars African Americans spend in this country.
