Well, it is no secret, that the Hammond city court may have run amuck with their traffic court. The court may have violated individuals civil rights!
I don't think the traffic court is isolated, but rumor has it, a Hammond attorney is thinking about some fed litigation. Was it $300,000 a year in fines that was reportedly illegally gathered by the court for the last 4 years or so.
Now if there was a class action lawsuit, 105 to 33% would be directed to the filing attorney, if and only if there is a favorable judgement against the court.
Now that would be 10% to 30% of $1,200,000 .... the pay check would be between $120,000 to $360,000.
Is this the same attorney who ran of that office? Maybe, maybe not!
I encouraged him to go for it.
