Actually Tiger, a progressive Times reporter and a verbal slip by Courtney Saczawa, the program coordinator for College Bound, 460 students in CB's 6th year have participated, only 60 so far have graduated.
Wasted money? Maybe, still there is not an independent audit with regard to how this program is implemented and whom is paid what to administrate it and if the awards have been equitably distributed.

College Bound is halfway through its sixth year. Of the 460 students participating, 60 so far have graduated, she said.
The program was started as a 10-year project, something McDermott said he wants to extend.
"I have a personal goal to make College Bound a permanent part of Hammond," he said.
