Saturday, Downtown Hammond had one of the biggest crowds in years as they had Beatlesfest and the Car Show.
The Beatles Fest that is now a annual event, doubled the attendance mark from last year. Even though they had around 2 thousand in attendance, not one problem was reported. They had plenty of security on hand, as one officer said" it was a big crowd, having a good time"
More events like this are needed during the year, not just this one time a year thing.
