I noticed they are cutting the weeds on the side of the road at 165th and Indianapolis blvd.
This I would believe is city property. So why do they have a private contractor doing the job?
The same thing applies for the landscaping of the new parking lot in the downtown area. Same company maintains both places. Why not have persons owing fines in court or unemployed individuals doing the job. Better yet, what happened to the park department?

City workers are encouraged to buy fundraiser tickets. They can only buy so many. When you hire contractors there are now companies who are encouraged to buy tickets. More tickets sold means a bigger cash haul for the man.

I would think it is the Rail Roads property. Why can't they cut it?
