Not what you're thinking. No, not that either, perv. College Bound. The Times of Northwest Indiana ran a story that gave some data on home values in Lake County. Hammond was down 48%! Merrillville, St. John, Highland, Crown Point, and Schererville were down 22%, 15%, 8%, 7%, and 7% respectively. None of the these communities except for Hammond has College Bound, yet Hammond was the worst performer! What gives? Also mentioned was that East Chicago values were down 65%! Whoopi! We aren't as bad as EC! Cause for celebration! People are moving out, but not as fast as they are fleeing Gary! Yeay! Home values are below sea level, but not as bad as EC! Yeay, Team McDermott!
