Been in and out of town lately, I couldn't believe what I read that despite all the wasteful spending Tom does, the library, a cornerstone of any community, McDermott couldn't find fuding to cover some of their needs.
800,000 is not a lot of money when you consider $250,000 wasted on a legal clinic and over $1,300,000 on a festival.
Amazing, just amazing.
I think this would be a good topic when Jr thinks he is going to run for Pete's job. Closed public health, couldn't fund at least some of the library needs, but he sure put on a $1,300,000 party with missing $250,000 of missing parking receipts.
