Here are the highlights of the meeting:

All board members were present.

Consent Agenda/Personnel Reports:

Patrick O'Rourke, the Teacher Union President, will go on a leave of absence as of November 2nd. Also, a board member had a conflict of interest in regards to the Personnel Report, but did not declare it.

Calender:

The next School Board Meeting will be on Monday November 12, 2012 6pm at 41 Williams Street.

There were no speakers at tonights very quick 10 minute meeting.

My take:

IMO, if there is just a hint of a conflict of interest, the board member who has the possible conflict of interest should excuse themselves from the vote.
Patrick O'Rourke is going on a leave of absence? Interesting !
