Northwest Indiana Discussion

Here are the highlights of the meeting:

There was a short Public Hearing on budget appropriations before the regular meeting this evening.

All board members were present.

Special Presentation:

A SCH high school student who went to China for 2 weeks this summer, gave her presentation on her trip.

Public Expression, No speakers this evening.

Calender:

The next regular school board meeting will be monday November 19, 2012 6pm at 41 William Street. The December meeting will be on monday December 10, 2012 at 41 Williams Street at 6pm.

My take:

The trip the student took to China sounds like it was enlightening.
On the Consent Agenda/Personnel Reports this evening, there were 2 conflicts of interest, but they were not declared by the board member.
