This is a Prima facie case against TIF's. Tif's appreciating property tax revenue does not go to the community but is retained by the tif.
Here is a shoot out, ambulances, fire department and police calls take away resources from the community.
And by the way, many, very many of the people who work at Walmart are Illinoisans.
Because shoot outs only happen in TIF's god damnit ..... You are a retard JCMT.
Only the Robertsdale Walmart is not a TIF district. The $2 Million in infrastructure came from a bond that the Port Authority floated for the new Yacht Club, among other things.
The residents of Robertsdale were against the Walmart locating there, as they knew it was catering to the Chicago market and not Hammond residents.
