Here are the highlights of the meeting:

All board members were present.

No speakers at the Public Expression Sessions this evening.

Unfinished Business:

Appointments

Delegate to the Indiana School Boards Association Delegate Assembly- Ms. White
Legislative Committee Contact Person- Ms. Murphy
National Affiliate Advocacy Information Network Representative- Ms. Jones
National Recreation Council-Ms. Mamala

Consent Agenda:

No. 10, a proposed contract for medical services and supervised training for athletics has been pulled for further discussion.

Personnel:

The new Assistant Principal at Hammond High is Johnny Goodlow, the former Dean of Students at Clark.

Reports:

A payment to NEOLA for the revision and updating of the board policy has been placed on hold. Their services are in question as to the quality and promptness.

Calender:

Public Work Session for Neola/Board Policy is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday July 23, 2013 5:30pm 41 Williams Street.
Public Work Session for the SCH Budget is Tuesday July 30,2013 5:30pm 41 Williams Street.
Next regular school Board meeting is Monday July 29,2013 5:30pm 41 Williams Street.

My Take:

Geez, if NEOLA is not doing their work to satisfaction, fire them and hire someone else.
