Here are the highlights of the meeting:

All board members were present.

Unfinished Business:

The candidates for the Library Board appointment were interviewed this evening. The candidates are: Ms. Patricia Robinson, a retired 28 year employee of the Library, and Mr. Paul Taylor, a former 8 year Library Board member,who was an appointee from the Hammond City Council. The vote to determine the appointment will be at the next regular School Board meeting on September 30, 2013 6pm Lafayette School. The appointee will be notified by mail.

There was an adoption of Board Policy 5517,01 Bullying.

The first reading of Board Policy 3000 Series was delayed until the next board meeting.Mr. Chris Rivera said the revised edition wasn't ready yet.

I was the only person at the meeting tonight, again.
