Well, I got a phone call from a friend. Doesn't every street person have a cell phone?

Obviously some people in Tom's administration are rather upset. Some middle level and upper level management people believe this consolidation is not going to work. They referred to a specific skill set needed and implied some, no they said many of Hammond City Employees don't have that skill set. Hey I didn't say this, but they did.

NO they did not mention our good friend Spickleface.

But they did go on to say, the average worker was going to get a $3,500 pay raise and that some friends of Tom, their salaries were going to go from $60,ooo ish to over $85,000 a year.

And this was a cost saving program by none other than Thomas McDermott Jr.
