Here are the highlights of the meeting:
All board members were present.
Presentation:
Morton elementary had a presentation on their "Community Day", which took place the Saturday before school started. There was food, fingerprinting, games, information available for parents and students, and the students got to tour a fire engine and a police car.
Mr. Wilson, Principal of Clark, introduced Mrs. Valerie Martinez, a Clark Art Teacher who received an award from the State Art Association.

Calender:
Special Meetings for Board Policy(NEOLA): Wednesday November 26th, Monday December 9th, and Wednesday December 11th, 5:30pm 41 Williams Street. Also Special Meeting for Neola at 7pm December 11th at 41 Williams Street.
Regular School Board Meeting Monday December 16, 2013 6pm 41 Williams Street.
New Business:
Tax anticipation warrants in the amount of $20 million dollars was approved this evening. The lack of property tax revenue was cited as a reason for this loan.
My Take:
The Morton Elementary Community sounds like it was a success ! Congratulations to Clark Art Teacher Valerie Martinez !!!
