Been so cold, how cold was it? Well the visitors to the campfire have been very few and far between.
Someone dropped in for a cup of joe (starbucks) and shared some information.
Apparently it's policy, "When nipsco turns off the electric/gas, the water department follows shortly there after and pulls the water meter" so this campfire visitor said.
Ponder that for a bit.
Interesting post. What I want to know is what is the communication line between NIPSCO and the water department?
I seem to recall a time when there is or was the start of an agreement between the health department and the water department that the water department would notify the health department of a water shut-off or meter to be pulled. This notification was usually a phone call to the department. This procedure was starting to work until the tyrant pulled the plug on the HD. Oh yes, and the the turncoat Mark Kalwinski lied to Dr. Panares and voted against the HD. There is a special place in HELL for Mark Kalwinski - both for voting against the HD and for LIEING about supporting the HD.
