Ms White was absent this evening.

There were 2 meetings this evening. The first was a Public Hearing on School Accountability. The schools presenting an improvement plan this evening were Harding, Hess, Edison, Columbia, Gavit,Clark, and Hammond High. I had another meeting to attend, so unfortunately, I had to leave this Public Hearing after Edison's presentation. It appears that free/reduced price meal recipients are the students with the lowest scores. This has been cited in the previous Public Hearing on School Accountability, and was also cited this evening, in the portion of the presentation that I recorded.
After the Public Hearing, there was a Special Meeting for the purpose of adopting a resolution to oppose provisions of HB 1001 and SB 1, to reduce or eliminate the the business personal property tax.
If anyone stayed for the portion of the Public Hearing, and the Special meeting that I missed, please chime in.

rumor is the elimination of business personal property tax is pretty dead for lack of Governor's credibility. again, the rumor.

I do not think it will be eliminated, but will be reduced.
