Although a common theme in Lake County Politics, it appears Tom has taken the play/play game to new heights. Soderquiest get's nailed and the Chairman, well, not that the boys haven't talked to Tom, someone hasn't pulled that trigger yet to prosecute the chairman.
One of the campfire visitors, who's been in investigations for years, said, the boys with gold badges will follow the antics of someone they have interest with, cultivate a rich and rewarding history, if the scams keep coming in as they had with one case they were involved with, the feds took years and years gathering intelligence, as it leads to others. They not only got one guy for a series of questionable property flips, financing scams, but they also got him on a stolen car ring and phony auto financing scam out of centeral Indiana.
They brought up the Cicero Illinois and one if its ex mayors. The FBI bugged city hall, go figure. Seems like Tom likes to mix up the location of his meetings, keeping thing safe.
And speaking of Sodequiest, spending $100,000 in 3 years @ a local gaming boat, Tom just loves his trips to Vegas, but he doesn't seem to have to many losing days. Add that to those poker games, where the Chairman seems not to loose to often. I wonder if Tom has claimed those wining? Hell no one does.
The weather has broke, a guest are coming more frequently to the Homan avenue underpass campfire. Directions: from the west, take State line to Willow Ct east along the tracks or old State Street on the east side going west. Almost any night you can see a few of us sitting around a campfire. Visitors welcome.
Well one of the visitors to the campfire brought made a unusual statement, can't be true, but who knows. Someone in the McDermott household controls the attorneys who works in the city court.
Hmmmm. Some recent antics coming from employee's of the court, the lawsuit from the Hispanic http://www.northwestindiana.com/discussionforum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=11488&sid=5eca1c5caf21f5d83c31994f63a9d74c woman alleging improprieties or at least clear conflicts of interest by personnel, some personnel possibly using property owners brought up on building deficiencies, and certain contractors using it as a referral source, in fact possibly being escorted by code enforcement personnel, well anything is possible.
I wonder if some cash is involved?
