I caught this last night on WGN. I am a bit surprised she tried to imply there could be some connection to the Cline sniper and these recent carjackings and muggings.

She interviewed Flo Decker whom talked about a very recent crime (shooting, I think) in or near the Kenwood tap and saying how crime is popping up in unexpected places in this city. (I was only half hearing due to being distracted)

Jackie also mentioned that Flo would "probably" be running for city council.

There was a Times story yesterday about a home invasion in the 6700 block of TEnnessee. IN it, I think the cops speculated it might be related to the carjackings, but nothing about the sniper. I"m sure you could find the story if you look. I don't feel like it-it's a holiday, you know. I'm off today.

interesting how flo new to run right to the microphone. i wonder if there were ec plates on the gunmens car the other night? ok i admit its a whacked out conspiracy theory thats beginning to take shape in my brain...but hey...this is ec politics we are talking about.
