Word "from the streets" says that the Hammond PD was visited earlier this week by the FBI. Now, that in itself is not a startling revelation. Law enforcement agencies would have pow wows to cooperate and coordinate investigations. Such would be non news of the dog bites man variety, but what if the HPD was the target of the investigation? That word has been out for some time now. Will this turn out to be a case of The Man biting The Dog that is in city hall? Pow! Wow!
