So Janet Vanesz(sp?) says she wont go along with Chico Hinojosa's(sp?) motion which attempt's to get financial information on Festival of The Take from the exective offices which run it. She says that Chico is running for mayor and is "playing politics" with the issue. Does Vanesz even realize that her response is "playing politics"? She is voting against disclosure for political reason. She's "playing politics"! Shock! But even if we say that both are engaging the issue for political reasons, we can judge which to shun. Chico's move is to provide information to the public. The McDermott Marionettes are keeping public info from the public. A fate worse than shame is due them. Further the council president says that he and "everybody else" has the information, and that those without it, don't know how to ask for it. Didn't he say that "everybody" has the information? I guess everybody doesn't mean "everybody".
