They are in the Times again today, with the tax sale being in April. Of more than 14,000 properties, all with a starting bid price of $300, close to 12,000 of them are in Gary. There are quite a few from Hammond, including numerous properties owned by United Neighborhoods Inc, the group that the mayor formed after he couldn't control Neighborhoods Inc.
