Yep, Mayor Thomas McDermott Jr appears again to have relied on questionable legal advise.... or was it a way to increase an attorney's legal fees. That debate for another time. Appears a court ruled Mayor McDermott's $85 rental registration fee has bitten the dust. The fee has been reduced to $5. Those individuals who are seeking a refund, may be required to file a Tort Claim. I understand a local Highland Attorney who fought this matter is handling those refunds. Now Tom has an $850,000 budget shortfall. Who is going to be laid off? |
