Listeners to Tom's radio show heard him dismiss a murder in Hammond as a non resident thug who was living a "gang lifestyle." The victim had it coming to him, I guess. In another murder aledgedly committed by a Hammond cop, Tom can be heard giggling as a caller questioned the background check done before the officer's hiring. Giggle murder giggle. But what got Tom animated was that the officer was breaking the law as regards to residency. As a probationary officer, he was supposed to be living in Hammond, but it appears he was not. Tom was steamed. How did his residency slip past the detectives on the PD? Wasn't Tom's motto , "The Right Priorities"?
