Here are the highlights of the meeting: All board members were present. Election Of Officers: All officers have retained their positions. Mrs. White-President, Ms. Mamala-Vice President, and George Janiec-Secretary. Schedule Of Meetings: The months of January, February, and March will have the board meetings on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of these months, due to scheduling. Recognition/Presentation: The Lafayette Bucket Drummers gave an excellent performance this evening ! The RTI program was explained this evening, as to the goals and how the intervention and protocols are implemented. Public Expression, 1st and 2nd Sessions: There were no speakers at either session this evening. Reports: There is still room at some of the schools for out of district student transfers. Dr. Watkins contract has been extended for 1 year. Calendar: The next regular school board meeting will be on Monday January 25th, 6pm, at Kenwood elementary. My Take: The Bucket Drummers were excellent !!! |
