| Post subject: | Good PR for Hammond? |
A stench covered much of Hammond recently. Not exactly news, but someone from the McDermott admin thought it would be positive spin to shop Hammond's response to the smell to the chicago media. What did hundreds of thousands hear or read? That a lung burning, eye watering smell was pervasive in Hammond and nobody knows why. No way to positive spin that. PR? PU. |

Couldn't they have least TRIED the "on a clear day, you can see Chicago from our waterfront", or, "at least we're not as bad as Gary." lines of reasoning? |
