With all my heart, I sincerely say thank you to everyone who supported me in the school board election ! It was one heck of a challenge, and I thoroughly enjoyed it ! Even though I lost, I am proud that I ran a totally clean and honest campaign, and used only my personal money, as I declined all donations. I met and talked with some absolutely awesome people throughout the city ! I am so grateful that I got the opportunity to do so. My friends who worked hard in this, were so awesome, I just cannot thank them enough ! My daughter's were such a great help, and I honestly could not have accomplished what I did, if not for them. I may have lost the election, but I am going nowhere. I will still attend all the school board meetings, and carry on as I have done all these decades. Mary Ellen Slazyk |
