Here are the highlights of the meeting: Mrs. White was absent this evening. Recognition/Presentation: The Lego Robotics teams were honored this evening. They received many trophy's in the competitions. Calendar: The next regular school board meeting will be on Tuesday February 21st, 6pm at Columbia Elementary School. Public Expression 2nd Session(no speakers 1st session): Carlotta King spoke about the reinstatement of the Athletic Director, Larry Moore. She said he should have received an apology besides being reinstated. She also said the community had requested a meeting with the administration last year, and have yet to hear anything. Josette Perkins, the Junior Varsity girls basketball coach at Hammond High, expressed her concerns about the apparent lack of communication regarding the records needed to establish if an athlete is eligible. My Take: Congrats to all the Lego Robotic Teams !!! There are a lot of unresolved issues that need to be addressed immediately. |
