Here are the highlights of the meeting: ALL board members were present. Recognition/Presentation: Jefferson Elementary School gave a presentation on the happenings at their facility. The Jefferson Choir performed this evening. Morton Elementary had a presentation on happenings at their facility. Harding PTA was the recipient of several awards at the state level. The Science Olympiad were recognized for their accomplishments this evening. No speakers at either Public Expression Session this evening. Calendar: There will be a Public Work Session this wednesday May 24th, 5:30pm at 41 Williams Street. The regular meetings in June will both be at 5:30pm and at 41 Williams Street on monday June 5th and 19th. My Take: Congratulations to all the students honored this evening !!! The Jefferson Choir was great !!! Mrs. Jones was present for the meeting this evening. If my memory is correct, this is the 3rd or 4th regular school board meeting she has attended since being re-elected in November. There are substantial amounts of rumors currently circulating, that the SCH will try for a referendum. |
