I hope it does too. A city employee should not be able to be on any board that makes decisions concerning their jobs. Whether they abstain from voting or not. They still could have an influence on the decision. |

yes and no Re: voting centers, that means (possibly) more travel to a polling location. I for one will be very upset to have to travel to Crown Point to vote. Longer lines (10,000 persons voting at one location, hopefully not at the same time) at the polling place. RE: clerk treasurer position, don't understand why this position might be dropped? Also, VERY alarmed buy the fact that it would be an appointed position. When it is an elected position, you have less of an opportunity for hanky panky. The person is more responsible to voters, not to the person that appointed them. Just my humble opinion. |

Not sure how the next St John Town Council will shake out, however, my predicition is that Cmdr Fryzel will become Chief Fryzel before his Town Council term runs out. And as I've never been a fan of Councilman Fryzel, I believe (in some morbid way of thinking) that he MAY be a decent Police Chief. I think the whole Town Council thing went to his head and he became a frakenstein.. Now I could be way off base.....Any comments? Also, who would be the best St John candidates? Please don't say Joe Hero...... |
