In todays chicago tribune A story of a marine who served this nation on two tours of duty in Iraq and survived it! turns down a third tour to be with family and friends. What does he get for doing this? Gunned down in a bar parking lot in drive by shooting on thursday morning at 2am. It happened at bar on indy blvd up near whiting.

This is a DAMN Outrage. In This One Case, at least, The streets of North hammond/Robertsdale area are more dangerous than iraq and for a marine no less.

My deepest thoughts and sympathies are with the family of this BRAVE
young man.

Very sad story. Sadder still when a war zone is safer that most cities in North LC and yet we STILL re-elect the same clowns to rule over us who keep the same inept cop leadership around to provide "safety & security services."

Let's not forget all that crime in southern LC too. Or in Porter, Valpo, La Porte,etc., etc.
