If Rudy Clay has the lights on at the Sheraton as promise will it be at the tax payer’s expense?

I've heard a senior center and some luxury condos on the top floors.

Also some shops on the lower levels.

I have to give him credit, at least he's trying.

King did NOTHING for Gary.

According to today's Post; that place is going to be inhabited by the old folks, and that's it. Does anyone call THAT devoplment? To my eye, it looks to much like a 60s or 70s building; and that's the way they were built. They should at least put in new style windows, in order to update the look. Also, NIPSCO has to check the building to make sure it can handle the electrons coming into it. It hasn't been used since about 1985! The lights should go on by May 2 or the 3rd per Clay, the main man.

Not to put the cart before the horse but doesn’t business construction have to go before the City Council? Has anything been presented before the council. One ground breaking announcement per day is just that an announcement until it is presented in/to the City Council. Will someone whisper this update in Rudy’s ear?

GARY -- For 17 of his 29 years with the Gary Fire Department, Michael Gregory worked in the fire prevention bureau, eventually attaining the division's top spot.
Now assigned to a fire station at his permanent rank of engineer, Gregory claims Chief Jeff Ward demoted him twice for political reasons.

Lots of money to be made with the care and feeding of old and infirm folks. It has been thus for many years. I hope residents of the Region are curious as to the little details of all contracts for this project.

Everything is at the taxpayers expense in Gary....

I mean come on for Christs sake....isn't this about the most ridiculous thing you've ever seen? Who in the hell are they trying to fool? I even imagine them arguing that this is a waste of money that could be better spent on accesories for the HUMMER.... or some new wet dream photos of the hovercraft...the USS RUDY....
