Any truth to the rumor that Dennis Terry had a little run in with the H.P.D. today? This would be terrible timing for him.

So, they take Block cells #1 through #280 and escort them to the Polls?

I'm sure they care about who gets elected while serving time.

You should ask that about Al Salinas, who has actually been charged with a crime and could serve a year if and when he ever runs out of continuances.

I agree with you on this one Free...obviously, he has some political connections..otherwise, most judges get fed up and don't let you (or, ordinary citizens) be granted so many continuances.

I'm glad it backfired...now does it mean he no longer is involved with the city, or he retains his job? I'm all confused.

The mayor knew darn well who hired the sex offender...and why would anyone a weed wacker nut working for the city?

Is the Vegas trip still gonna happen?

Who won the council seats besides, Marko, that the mayor did not support?

How do you know it was a humiliating loss for him? And I heard second hand he was a victim of Hammond's rising violent crime rate recently, so had interaction with the cops.

Many people seem to know from their own experience that those stats aren' t right, for whatever reason.

I think freetime started this thread on the TIMES Board....I may be mistaken.

My mistake, it was posted by Voter, but has the stastistics to back it up.
