Judge: Early voting centers to remain open

HAMMOND | Early voting satellite centers in Gary, Hammond and East Chicago will remain open following a Wednesday ruling in Lake Superior Court.

In her ruling, Judge Diane Kavadias-Schneider struck down Republican efforts to have the satellite voting locations deemed illegal and shut down.

The judge granted a petition by Democrats and the United Steelworkers union to keep the sites open on grounds the centers provide better access to early voting to minority communities, which don't have the time or transportation to reach the early voting center in Crown Point.

Democracy the democrat's way has won. Now their voters that they line up to vote early can get their drinks right away as the bars don't have to close. And they can get their fake IDs all in order so they can vote again at the poll on election day.

Early voting...what a joke. It is election DAY on November 4th. If you cannot vote that day get an absentee ballot. Having "early voting" just opens up the vast opportunity for FRAUD.

No,it doesn't. The same rules apply as on election day. Most people want to physically cast their ballot in person, not mail it in. Early voting accomplishes that.

If early voting is such a big necessity, how come it is not statewide and is only in specific cities?

How come I cannot vote early in say Chesterton, Valpo, Kouts, Hebron, Wanatah, Portage? How come its only where its at?

Then again, at least this will hopefully stop Lake County from looking like idiots yet again on national TV on November 4. Of course it would be great to see Rudy Clay trying to stammer and hem and haw when Lake doesn't have its ballots counted yet at midnight yet again, holding up the results yet again

Indeed. But only if you support the wright person.

Lake County, Indiana is in the national news again.

It looks like the voter fraud is extensive and rampant.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAnnnnnnnnnnnddddddd it looks criminal as well.

ACORN may be getting prosecuted under Federal Racketeering Laws...(RICO)

The counties with the highest percentage of Negros will be the last to certify the results of the election in Indiana. They'll try their best to rig it in their favor with help from the folks at ACORN. That means Lake, Marian, Allen and St. Joseph will be the last counties to certify their results. No different than the primary.

Meanwhile, we await the second coming.
