Gary men killed in early morning shooting


Two men died after being shot in Gary early Sunday morning, according to the Lake County coroner's office.

Shots rang out in the area of West Fifth Avenue and Taft Street before 3:30 a.m. and the shooting victims were Gary residents Rodney Hobson, 35, and Derrick Barbour, 37.

Hobson was pronounced dead at Methodist Hospitals Northlake Campus in Gary at 3:30 a.m., the coroner's office said. Barbour was pronounced dead at the hospital at 3:46 a.m.

A third victim may have been injured in the shooting but his condition and identity were unknown to the coroner's office.

Hobson and Barbour sustained multiple gunshot wounds to their bodies as a result of an apparent homicide.

The Gary Police Department and the Lake County coroner's office are still investigating the matter.

Why were all these people killed? :shock:

Yea well I bet Obama paid for the bullets though. :P

Well if they ever do they'll just blame me & you for paying taxes and contributing to the problem like Hillary Clinton did about the Mexican drug lords. :twisted:

Still trying to figure out how I get blamed for that since I neither take drugs nor hire illegals.
