Campaign Finance Reports

I think it would be in the public interest for campaign finance reports of county elected officials to be available online.
County election head staffer Sally Losota told me today that at this time, a trip to Crown Point is necessary to see any reports of Hammond officials.
I checked the Indiana state site for such information too. They are pleading broke in an announcement here:

Why do you suppose this sort of information is NOT readily available to the public????
Why do you suppose at the same time, Democratic officials who are members of the new county governing board are being pressed to "donate" money or sell tickets. It will be interesting to see who buys all those tickets.
Information which should be on the campaign finance reports.

In Illinois, it is all available through the Cook Coutny CLerk website

Nothing here in Lake County.
Can you imagine? Look what goes on in Cook County and they DO post the reports.
Lake County won't even pretend to be open and transparent.

they cant even get our tax bills out on time,

As for being broke, they are attempting to give a few raises based on projected over-time?
