FREE LAKEFRONT HAUNTINGS "SUMMER SERIES"
Join Danielle at the Portage Lakefront and River walk for an enchanting story overlooking the Portage Lakeshore. All three of the summer series programs are free to the public. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket.

Have you ever witnessed a Ghost Ship? Many have been spotted on Lake Michigan throughout the years. Join Danielle as she discusses the famous Ghost Ship sightings on Lake Michigan

Friday, August 5th from 7:00-8:00 pm -Haunted Lighthouses & Ghosts of Stagecoach Road
Does Lake Michigan have any haunted lighthouses? What is the history and haunting of Stagecoach Road? Join Danielle as she takes you through the John Herman, Joseph Willie Townsend, and the 1833 settlement and Stage House on the Detroit to Fort Dearborn trail now known as Stagecoach Road.

GHOST HUNTING AS A HOBBYThis course is designed to give the hobbyist insight into the world of Ghost Hunting. If you are a skeptic, but process an open mind, you will discover that paranormal research is similar to the process of CSI or forensic investigation. We will study the different types of paranormal activity, a typical case study of a "Haunting", the essential theories, equipment, and process. Ghost Hunting 101 will prepare you for your first ghost hunt. This class is informative and fun! Expect an open discussion, introduction, and experience sharing. The program is taught from a historical and scientific level.
Saturday, August 6th from 9:00am - 4:00 pm. (There will be a one hour lunch break from 12:00 - 1:00 PM)
Ages: 18 & up
Woodland Park - Hickory Hollow Room
$25 per person/$35 per couple. Pre-register by Thursday, August 4th at the Park office.
