Beatnik's on Conkey opened last month in Hammond. http://hammondcommunitytheatre.org/beatniks.html We saw the Vagina Monologues there last weekend. It was a great show and all the proceeds went to support Haven House, a shelter for battered women. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. |

I like the fact that is a small theater and you have the chance to talk with the performers. It is a much more interactive experience than going to the movies. |

I absolutely cannot stand Blue Man Group. I've seen three of their shows and have never been impressed with them. |
