Edged Weapon Defense seminar...

Sunday August 6th, 2006 10am-1pm

Powell's Family Tae Kwon Do
2112 E. Winona Ave.
Warsaw, Indiana

This seminar will provide participants with the know-how to successfully deal with edged weapon assaults. Learn how to mentally prepare for this potentially deadly situation, how to safely escape, when to use environmental tools as life-saving weapons, and how to effectively use your bare hands to save your life when all other options have been exhausted. Learn the universal skill set and see how it can easily be applied to firearm assaults, impact weapon assaults, and even empty-hand attacks. This simple but effective program can be utilized in numerous life-threatening situations with only little modification. Think of it as a complete self-defense system offered in a short 3-hour package.

This is not a martial arts course and previous knowledge or experience is not a requirement.

This is the very same material taught to soldiers, law enforcement, and security personnel.

The cost for this one-of-kind program is only $25.00. This is the last time the program will be offered this year so don't miss your chance to attend this life-saving event at such a great price.

Please pass this on to family, friends, and anyone else you think might be interested.

Please contact me soon to reserve your spot.

Hi,

I realize that you are being sarcastic but that's exactly why people find themselves being the victim of robbers, rapists, and other such criminals. They have what's called the "ostrich syndrome", they tend to stick their heads in the sand and act like bads thing don't happen in this world. They tend to believe that bad things won't likely happen to them so they don't need to know how to keep themselves safe. The truth is, such a belief system doesn't make crime or bad things go away. It just decreases overall awareness and feeds criminal behavior. The criminals figure that if you don't care about your own safety why should they! The sad thing is that this kind of mentality reflects about about 90% of the population which is why crime is so high and still growing. I am sure that about 95% of all victims had this syndrome before becoming a statistic.

Feel free to contact all of the women across the state of Indiana who have been abused by their spouses or sexually assaulted by a coworker or even a stranger. See how they feel about your sarcasm toward crime and violence. Feel free to contact the parents of those children who have been molested, raped, or kidnapped & killed. See if they have the same attitude now that you find so entertaining.

For those with the "ostrich syndrome" I suggest that they open their eyes and take a look around at the world they live in.

Here is a quote that fits here rather nicely-

"The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of those that do
evil, but because of those who watch it and let it happen."

Albert Einstein
