What do you think was the lamest, most overrated TV show of all time?
Leave it to Beaver is near the top of my list.
I don't have cable TV, but I do have a converter box now and I like free Channel 23 a lot. I can watch Andy Griffith any time, just like Seinfeld. Always good. :D

Dancing with the Stars

American Idol

All reality TV with the exception of cooking competitions like Top Chef.

Arc, I agree on most reality shows - except the whole family enjoys Amazing Race. What was that one a few years ago where they had to eat something gross on every show? Fear Factor! I personally never got into Friends or Seinfeld.

1) Hello Larry
2) Skin (Fox network)
3) Las Vegas

Broadcast Ch. 23 has provided another worthy contender--The Flying Nun. The only thing saving this steaming lump from total uselessness is the kitschy guest stars. I saw Paul Lynde in his prime, really gaying it up good as an exasperated Catholic priest.

You're not suggesting that there may be homosexuals within the ranks of the Catholic priesthood, are you?

I've heard rumors...

Well, those rumors are undoubtedly false, and I can prove it.

A.) There have been many documented cases of child molestations perpetrated by Catholic priests.
B.) We have been told, over and over and over and over and over again, that homosexuals MUST be allowed to chaperone young boys on otherwise unsupervised Boy Scout camping trips, and that they MUST be allowed to surround themselves with young boys while coaching various sports teams, because homosexuals NEVER molest children.
C.) Hence, there cannot be any homosexuality amongst Catholic priests.

Quod erat demonstrandum.

I ain't buying it.

Sorry, Father, but MANY of your colleagues have sinned and until I know better, I have to be a bit suspicious of all of you.

Many of you are upright people, but too many have not been.

I don't have any kids, but I hate the idea of any kids being molested by adults, especially ones in positions of authority.

But that's exactly my point - Catholic priests have molested children; hence, they cannot be homosexuals, because homosexuals never molest children. I know this is true, because liberals say so all the time, and it is a major justification as to why liberals demand that homosexuals should be allowed to be scoutmasters and coaches for adolescent sports teams.
Is that any clearer?

I don't accept your contention that liberals say homosexuals don't ever molest kids.

I'm a liberal. I don't say or think that, or met anyone who does.

Homosexuals and heterosexuals molest kids. Damn them all.

Now hows about we go back to my topic, the lamest TV shows of all time?

The Flying Nun is still up there, at least close to the top of the list.

Got any nominations?

Here's just one of approximately seven hundred gazillion examples. They're not particularly hard to find.

http://gaylife.about.com/b/2006/07/09/g ... r-fact.htm
Adoption expert, Carrie Craft cites the Child Welfare Information Gateway (previously National Adoption Information Clearinghouse) as stating, "A child's risk of being molested by his or her relatives' heterosexual partner is over one hundred times greater than by someone who might be identifiable as being homosexual."

OK.
But remember - you were the one who introduced homosexuality to this thread.

I totally agree I did that. But it was just a passing thought, a throwaway. I really wanted to rag about terrible TV shows.
Oh well.

Agree! Absolutely dreadful.
Isn"t Don Knotts (Mr. Farley) the creepiest thing on two feet?
