Post subject:  Unfunny Shows
I don't have cable TV so I watch ME TV a lot. Many of the old shows they feature as as good if not better than the current fare on cable and the networks. I hate almost all reality shows I have seen.
But honestly, some of the old shows just suck. For example, I have never seen a funny epiosode of the Dick Van Dyke show. Maybe it's just me.
Anyone else share my opinion? Weekends on ME TV are really bad. Different Strokes, Give Me a Break, eyc. Just awful!

Never heard of ME TV. I used to watch comedies all the time - All in the Family, Mary Tyler Moore, etc. Now it seems there are stupid people in most comedies. I have enough encounters with stupidity in real life - don't want to watch it on TV. I prefer cop and medical dramas mostly.

ME is Channel 23 on broadcast TV, or 223 on Comcast.
They have the shows you mentioned every night , and i watch them all the time. SO much better than most of the current junk.
They just finished two weeks of Mary Tyler Moore shows with Sue Ann (Betty White). She was GREAT
They have Andy Griffith twice a night. I'm hoping for some Ernest T. Bass. It may be silly but I find him hilarious.

I only have expanded basic Valpo Comcast. Your METV sounds like our TVLand.

It's a different channel, but carries a lot of the same stuff. Except it's FREE! :)
