Ron Paul Racing Lands a Car!

After exiting conversation’s with Doug Yates Racing, we have secured permission to announce our sponsor intentions. Not just any car but the legendary #28 making its historic return to the track since it was retired shortly after the passing of NASCAR great Davey Allison in 1993. Imagine the coverage this team is going to get for Ron Paul.

Doug Yates Racing, with 48 poles, 57 wins including two Daytona 500s and a Championship, is no stranger to winning. The #28 car also posted the 4th fastest time in Daytona’s preseason test earlier this month. Imagine the coverage this car will get for its history alone. Now imagine it covered with Ron Paul. This would be the first time a NASCAR racecar was sponsored by "We the People", the fans, the Ron Paul Revolution.

However, depending on our commitment we will need to collect $50K to 400k in the next 2 weeks. Considering we (the grassroots supporters) have collected 6.5 million in 24 hours, WE CAN DO THIS! But we need everyone’s help. Please copy this hyperlink-logo and post it everywhere. Add http://www.ronpaulracing.com to your email signature and most of all donate today.

Over the next few days we will be updating the site with various Ron Paul endorsements throughout the racing community as well as Ron Paul Racing fan gear and details about how you can be there with us in person for the dropping of the green flag. But only if we meet our goal. The plans have been set; the ball is rolling; now it’s up to us all to make this happen.

Thank you,

Scanner Scott

As an avid NASCAR fan, I can honestly attest that this is probably a "one race deal" as they say. A lot of T.V. exposure, as long as the car stays in the race, and runs up front. I would suspect other candidates may do the same.

The cost of $50K is just for the 500 if we raise up to $400K it will be in other races too like the Bud Shootout.

I do not suspect other candidates will have a car at the 500. They would need to secure a team and the only other candidate that could fund this is Romney and he isnt the NASCAR type.

Huckawannabe wishes he could be in NASCAR and Ghoulina pretends by driving his RV around the track.

Also for expreassos info no he doesn't he polls way better everywhere he goes. The longer he is there the higher he polls.

Maybe, just look at Hussein Obama & hillary, both are winning and losing, and they have been in since the start. SUPER TUESDAY will be the test, THEN we can see who really has a chance.

CORRECTION: No one want's a socialist president except for those on welfare and those that benefit from those on welfare and those on the government payroll.
