Fellow Hoosiers: Yesterday we lost a great battle for our right to privacy at the expense of a few grubby Hoosiers that thought they needed to give up their 4th and 5th amendment rights in order to have a fake sense of security. These Hoosiers believe that by requiring employers to "DEMAND" to see our papers please we will some how fix the problem of Illegal Immigration. While this may be so they have no right to infringe on the rights of other Hoosiers while doing so. Their main flaw was not looking at the real problem. The problem is that these migrants are accessing socialized programs that fellow Hoosiers are taxed for and then given back to them in the form of a socialized government hand out. Therefore since most migrants are not taxable or do not pay taxes they should rightfully not be eligible for these programs. This is the real issue since the government does "NOT" have the authority to write nor enforce "Immigration Law" as you can read about here. http://www.northwestindiana.com/discuss ... php?t=2690 Please call the ACLU http://www.aclu-in.org and insist they file a class action suit against the state for the violation of your 4th and 5th amendment rights and your rights to privacy under the Indiana Constitution. Many people have said that similar laws have been proven constitutional however never has the supreme court looked at this under these terms. We have the responsibility to set the record straight. We can fix this correctly and without losing our liberty. There is still hope if we act now. Please let the ACLU know of your interest in this lawsuit. It also includes funding for the Indiana attorney general's office, which would investigate written complaints made against employers. Similar legislation in Oklahoma and Arizona has prompted thousands of illegal workers to leave those states. I'm all for this bill. I have nothing to hide about myself. I'm glad that this will help us get rid of our illegal aliens. |

It already passed the state Senate. Now it needs to pass the House, and then Gov. Mitch will sign it into law. That day will be a great day for Indiana. |
