I have mixed feelings on this. Lew Wallace been doing this for 3 years and that it's partly due to the high cost of fuel. Well OK. OTOH why is this service apparently specific to students and why now city wide this particular year?

I guess I'd have a lot less problem with this "service" were it not student specific. It's probably just coincidence that student voters tend to vote for Obama while the elderly tend to be more pro-Clinton. So I wonder if Gary has a similar service that seniors and the poor are made well aware of?

LaSota said they wouldn't turn away potential voters of any age.

Ok, but as an adult would you really feel comfortable in a school bus full of kids out on a free day pass from class? Much less if you were sick or physically feeble.

NO to your answer, but do what Rudy did,...give the rest of Indiana kids' a day off to enjoy a vote and steak. If that loosing city can do it...the rest of the state can. What goes around, should come around.

I say, make it equal....bus the rest of Lake County students out, give the same excuse and bribe them with Ponderosa when they're use to cutlets.

Especially with city officials on the buses along with Obama campaign staff and no one from Hillary's staff. I wonder what they talked about?

Just hope the Daniels hasn't sold away the rest of the state by the General election. When was the last time Indiana was able to cast a vote in presidential primary?
