Edwards admits to affair, denies fathering child

WASHINGTON - Former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards on Friday admitted to an extramarital affair while his wife was battling cancer.

You right-wingers are so judgemental. He admitted to a "serious error in judgement" so we should just move on.

"I made a serious error in judgment and conducted myself in a way that was disloyal to my family and to my core beliefs," Edwards said in his statement. "I was and am ashamed of my conduct and choices, and I had hoped that it would never become public.

It's not like he just kept lying about it.....

Edwards released a statement late in the day saying he made a "serious error in judgment," after telling ABC News' Nightline in an interview scheduled to be broadcast Friday night that he repeatedly lied about the affair during his failed presidential campaign.

Well it least he wasn't cruel and cheated on his wife while she was seriously ill....Oh wait.....

Edwards told ABC News that his wife Elizabeth, who has been diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer, learned of the affair in 2006, as did others in his family. He said the cancer was in remission when the affair began

See...? She was in remission so that makes all ok.......People are so quick to judge.

Democrat Congressman Barney Frank ran a male prostitute ring out of his basement, so I guess it's OK for everyone to do it.
