I probably should make it a poll but I'm just curious what you think of Obama's choice?

Well sorry to be coy but if you don't already know I am not at liberty to say. It's not been announced publically yet. You understand.

But I will tell you with 100% absolute certainty who is isn't.

Sen. Dick Durban.
Mayor Richard Daley
Gov Blogo
And it sure as heck isn't Rudy Clay, despite his vast foreign policy experience gained from his trip to China.

Well you know this selection kinda told us something about Obama's priorities. I wouldn't have made that choice. But I will say that at least he didn't take Rev Wright up on his offer to be VP.

That is correct. It will NOT be Bill Clinton. ;)

Actually were I him I might have at least considered Nancy Pelosi because with his having no chance in FL it would be nice to have a lock on the California electors unless he thought she couldn't deliver the state. But I don't think they're very compatibly anyway and she sure wouldn't fill the need for foreign policy experience. Then again having a VP with that resume has probably been overplayed because just how often does a President take the word of his VP over his own thinking anyway. :)

Well I'm not saying I personally would welcome it but it does make a certain amount of sense. He does need to shore up support in certain areas to make sure his whole party actually has a reason to show up to the pols and this Bush's 3rd term gag isn't getting much traction past the core believers.
