I But the more Obama talks about change and new regulation the more I worry.
Mirage must be part of the 5% that make over $250,00 and is about to start having to pay his fair share of taxes as soon as Obama gets in office.
You must be under some spell if you think this Democrat is REALLY going to reduce your taxes overall. The way this guy spills out half truths I figure he may reduce the Federal income tax on some, not the 95% he now claims, while imposing thousands of "per use fees" to make up for it. He may get the bright idea that reducing the tax rate percentage is actually a cut even if he imposes a $100 filing fee, a $10 per deduction surcharge, and a $50 convenience fee on refunds. I bet if he had his way refunds would only be applicable towards future taxes.
He today claims he is for lower fuel prices. Yet I cited a taped interview not 4 months ago where he said he had no problem with higher prices for gasoline and only objected that the increases came so quickly. Not 2 months ago he supported BOTH a $.53 a gallon additional Federal tax PLUS a 10% tax on oil companies who only make an 8% - 10% profit in the first place and over half of that money was to go for alternative energy theories. Now, of course, he's singing a different tune in a tight race. And I remember when he opposed offshore drilling, as did some here, but now he is open to the idea. Or at least he now claims to be.
I do not trust Obama. His words are worthless to me and should be to anyone else who isn't blinded by party loyalty or racism. The Dems had a chance to offer a better candidate but couldn't find one. So forget all the insults about age or Bush the only candidate that makes any sense at all is John McCain. Obama is nothing less than a cross between Jimmy Carter and a snake oil salesman. Wake up and see the con!
