Even after all of the questionable factors in the Obama election are considered in the end enough people to make the difference voted the emotion of their pocket books based on political rhetoric instead of looking at the picture as a whole. This is a sad commentary on the American electorate. I am afraid it won't be long after the swearing in before the rude awakening that what you were promised will fall way short of reality and that what becomes reality you will wish were but a dream.

And in Lake County, IN races for all the talk of "change" nationally all the same old Dems were voted right back in. That is just pathetic because change for the better never will come with one party rule and no real incentive to improve. So enjoy all those new local taxes that are on the way!

If you voted for the Dems don't be surprised when things don't turn out quite as you were led to expect. Some might call it pure Marxism. But the problem with Obama economics is there's not enough money in the world to make it work.

Yeah right.
What is a sad commentary & astonishing is that 46% of the voters in this country wanted to continue the horrendous catastrophe of the last 8 years for another 4 years.

Now that is mind boggling.

All that proves is the Repukes can still scare people, just not as many as they used to. Their party is a dying breed of old white men whose base is literally dying off with no way of replenishing it.

Hopefully,
Americans across the country will realize how much both political parties have stolen from this country by continuing to fund a bloated military budget when there is no basis in reality for our present military-industrial complex. The resources we presently spend on aggressions in the Middle East can be used to build decent housing and provide health care and education in this country. That is what the Republiscams are truly afraid of, that they won't be able to scare us into supporting the military at the expense of our country anymore.

LMAO

Like at Walter Reed Medical......?

Building 18
WRAMC's Building 18 is described in the article as rat- and cockroach-infested, with stained carpets, cheap mattresses, and black mold, with no heat and water reported by some soldiers at the facility. The unmonitored entrance created security problems, including reports of drug dealers in front of the facility. Injured soldiers stated they are forced to "pull guard duty" to obtain a level of security. In an attempt to alleviate the toll that Building 18's condition is taking on the wounded soldiers, a staff team headed by a clinical social worker at WRAMC obtained a grant of $30,000 from the Commander's Initiative Account for improvements; however, "a Psychiatry Department functionary held up the rest of the money because she feared that buying a lot of recreational equipment close to Christmas would trigger an audit." By January the funds were no longer available.
